CoWorking FAQs

Got a question?

CoWorking refers to a shared workspace where people from different companies or professions can work independently or collaboratively in a communal space.

It provides a flexible and cost-effective solution, offering amenities such as desks, chairs, and Wi-Fi.

CoWorking spaces are great for freelancers and individual employees, they offer networking opportunities and a vibrant atmosphere to work in.

Both Hot Desking and Dedicated Desking are a form of CoWorking. However, there is one major difference between the two.

Hot Desking memberships allow you to come in and choose any desk in the hot desk area for a few hours or a full day. These desks are first come first serve and you cannot reserve or permanently keep a desk.

In contrast, Dedicated Desks allow you to choose a permanent desk where you can setup and leave your belongings on. These desks are just for you and no one else.

When using a CoWorking space for hotdesking or dedicated desking, you will usually receive the same amenities as the serviced office space users. These include amenities such as meeting rooms, kitchenettes, reception areas and more.

Surrey is a great location for CoWorking. With its convenient transportation links, including mainline train stations, with fast trains to London, Surrey towns provide easy access to both the city and surrounding areas.

The towns also have a large business community, multiple shops and restaurants and a growing reputation for professional services.

Usually office furniture is supplied by the company. This includes desks, chairs, monitors and storage.

Some companies also provide added extras such as keyboards and mice.

Most of the time it is up to the CoWorker to bring in their own laptops, notepads, etc.
