In May 2023, Evolve began an ambitious renovation project on their, historic headquarters building in West Byfleet. They got in touch with Collaborate because they needed a suitable short-term office space whilst the work was completed.
Evolve needed a flexible, convenient workspace that could host both office-based staff and a wider field team that would regularly pass-by for meetings and team working. Additional meeting rooms, breakout spaces and facilities were equally as important as desk space to enable the smooth transition from their own facilities. At the time of Evolve arriving we’d recently just finished renovating a perfectly sized private office for 12 desks, overlooking the high street, with an adjacent meeting room and a well-stocked kitchen close by.
Contract terms had to be flexible, with a short fixed term and a rolling arrangement thereafter. This turned out to be very suitable as inevitably their building project did experience some delays. Of course, we were happy to oblige.
Collaborate’s location in central Woking, with easy access for parking and public transport, meant Evolve’s staff were able to come and go easily. And because Collaborate has several meeting rooms and spare offices, Evolve were able to stretch out and make video calls or host meetings without too much disruption from their usual working patterns in West Byfleet.
