In July 2023, Strategic Imperatives approached us with a significant challenge: their existing office space in Staines was too large and inefficient under a traditional lease agreement. They sought to downsize to a more cost-effective, manageable office space without compromising functionality or comfort, and switch to a serviced office license, so they could focus more on running their business.

At the time Strategic Imperatives contacted us, we were in the process of refurbishing a new floor at our Export House business centre. This timing was ideal, as it allowed us to design a bespoke, tailored space to meet their specific needs. Our serviced office package streamlined their office management by allowing us to take care of all essential services such as service charges, business rates, broadband, kitchens, meeting rooms, and daily cleaning services. Consolidating all expenses into a single monthly invoice for simplicity and ease of mind. Large office with three separate rows of white desks and chairs. Collaborating closely with Strategic Imperatives, we developed a downsizing plan that ensured their new office would still comfortably accommodate their team. Working with our space planner we helped Strategic Imperatives design their ideal office. The new space was designed to include multiple private meeting rooms, providing the necessary privacy and functionality for their operations. The transition to a serviced office package also allowed Strategic Imperatives to focus solely on their core business activities, while we managed all the supporting services.

The move to Export House proved to be a successful venture for Strategic Imperatives. Their new tailored office space gave them a more efficient working area. Furthermore, our serviced office package offered flexibility and scalability, positioning Strategic Imperatives for future growth without the constraints of a traditional lease. This relocation enabled them to maintain their high standard of service delivery while optimising costs and resources.

Leigh Wilson, Head of Customer Engagement at Strategic Imperatives, had the following to say:

Post covid, along with many other companies, we decided as a business to downsize from our much larger leased office. We had some concerns - what if we grew in headcount as planned in the next couple of years, how would we manage going from 1 or 2 people being in the office on a Monday and Friday but potentially 20-25 being in on a Wednesday? We decided this was the place for us on our first visit, when we met with Allan and Luca they were able to show us around the shell of the space and give us great confidence on how the space could work for us, we got a great feeling from the team on this first visit that unlike some other spaces we had viewed that we would be a valued client. Throughout the moving process and as we still grow currently, we have been and continue to be very happy with the flexibility and support from all of the Collaborate team. The contractual terms were beautifully simple and we also came to a deal on holding the space until we were ready to move which gave us time to organise our move strategically and settle the team into the new space. We've now been here for 6 months and we're very happy in our new home - the guys especially enjoy the proximity to a huge number of restaurants as well as the train station and speedy London connections!

In conclusion, the partnership between Strategic Imperatives and Collaborate resulted in a seamless transition to a more efficient office environment, aligning with their future-focused vision and operational needs.
